Another day, another jewelboxing project. I always try to make the design of these cases match the personalities of both the bride and groom and the wedding itself.
Today I completed a design for Sam and Ted, my latest clients.
Images with a similar color spectrum with my standard Interstate fonts and color toned elements.
Scott, I just love your jewel boxes (as you know).
Real story: on Saturday I was shooting a wedding in Riederau, a tiny village about 50 kilometers outside of Munich, beautifully located at the Ammersee lake. At one time we had to enter a landing stage for an old steam boat where the b&g and their guests would depart for a tiny round trip.
I wanted to do a couple of shots on this stage, but I needed to get rid of the (few) tourists in the back. So I approached them and asked politely to leave the stage just for a few minutes. One guy did not understand, but he smiled at me. I tried it in English, and soon we were chatting. Turned out that he was from the U.S., visiting his grandchildren who happen to live here. I asked - where in the U.S. are you coming from? And he replied, "from Hawaii". :-)
